Julia E. Torruiso Martin
Julia E. (Torruiso) Martin, 89, a lifelong resident of Perryopolis, Perry Township, Pa., died on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 9:42 p.m. at the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa.
Born May 6, 1929 in Star Junction, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary (Szakal) Torruiso.
Mrs. Martin was Baptist by faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by three children: Doris Martin of Perry Township, Robert and Norma Jean Martin of Butler, Pa., Donna and Jeff Sage of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Robert and Joann Torruiso of Perryopolis, Pa., and Steve and Polly Torruiso of Perryopolis, Pa.; eight grandchildren: Jill Martin, Beth Lehman, Larry Martin, Craig Martin, Ashlee Martin, Glenn Martin III, Benjamin Martin, and Patrick Martin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn A. Martin Sr.; two sons, Dale Martin and Glenn A. Martin Jr.; two daughters-in-law, Sue Martin and Karen Martin; and two brothers, Andrew Torruiso and John Torruiso.
Visitation will be held today from 6 to 8 p.m. at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 191 LIBERTY ST., PERRYOPOLIS, PA 15473 (724.736.2515).
Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 25, at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Geary Witt of Wooddale Bible Brethren Church officiating.
Interment will take place in the Mount Washington Cemetery.
