Michael C. Pierno Jr.
Michael C. Pierno Jr., on Monday, May 21, 2018 of suburban Detroit, Michigan and formerly of Uniontown, Pennsylvania at age 88.
Mr. Pierno was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He graduated from South Union High School, California State Teachers College and the University of Michigan.
Michael was a longtime teacher for Birmingham Michigan Public Schools.
He was the beloved husband of the late Ellen M. (nee Anastasakis) for 46 years; dear father of Michelle M. (Ken) and Cheryl L. (Dave); grand father of Michael and Olivia; brother of Ellarita Kessel (the late James); uncle of Kevin Kessel (Fran) and Alisa Kessel (Ben Mauk).
Funeral Mass will be said on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, 32340 Pierce Street, Beverly Hills, Michigan.
