Shelley Martin Salakar
Shelley Martin Salakar, age 67, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away at her home on Thursday, November 1, 2018.
She was born in Uniontown, Pa., on March 7, 1951 the daughter of Betty L. (Sesler) Martin and the late William E. Martin.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Salakar.
Shelley attended Laurel Highlands High School and the Fayette County Vocational- Technical School and was a graduate of the Durbin Secretarial School.
She enjoyed reading literature, watching independent films, and spending time with her beloved pets.
Shelley grew up in Uniontown and lived in Greensburg, Pa., and Pinellas Park, Florida before returning to her hometown.
In addition to her mother, Shelley is survived by her son, William M. Bush of Washington, D.C.; and her brother, Elton Martin of Uniontown, Pa.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pennsylvania where family and friends will be received on Sunday, November 11th, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. followed by a Service celebrating Shelley’s life at 3:00 p.m.
Interment is private.
