State police are working to identify a person who allegedly broke into Fayette Friends of Animals early Tuesday.

Surveillance footage shows a person whose face is covered, dressed all in white.

The suspect reportedly broke into the shelter just before 5:30 a.m. and apparently searched the safe for a key. Nothing was reported stolen. A shoe print was left on the desk, officials said.

Anyone with information is asked to call State Police in Uniontown at 724-439-7111 or Fayette County Crime Stoppers at 724-320-2042.
