James Joseph Typovsky
James Joseph Typovsky, 81, Daisytown Pa., passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in Dunlevy Gardens Personal Care Home.
He was born July 2, 1937 in Daisytown, Pa., son of Russell and Anna (Huba) Typovsky.
Mr. Typovsky was a 1957 graduate of California High School.
He honorably served with the United States Army for two years.
In 2000, after 36 years of service, he retired from the former Fox Grocery, Wetteral and Super Value where he worked as a Truck Driver.
He was a member of Teamsters Local 872 Charleroi, Pa.
He was a lifelong member of the Saint Katharine Drexel Parish Richeyville Campus and a member of The Knights of Columbus Council 5826 in Bentleyville.
Mr. Typovsky was a member of American Legion Post 165, Polish Club and Independent Club all in Bentleyville, Pa., and also the Richeyville Miners Club.
He enjoyed bowling with the Fayette Traveling League, hunting and golfing.
On October 12, 1968, he married Rosemary (Childs) Typovsky. She died on Monday, October 22, 2012.
Surviving are three daughters: Kelly Jo Typovsky of Daisytown, Pa., Jamie Elizabeth Typovsky of Lovettsville, Virginia and Bridget Michelle Typovsky of Gahanna, Ohio; one son, James Michael Typovsky II (Rhonda), Brownsville, Pa.; two granddaughters: Akaylia Rose Typovsky and Taryn Jo Typovsky; two sisters: Maryann Hornick (Robert) of Daisytown, Pa., and Patty Husarchik (Emil) of Daisytown, Pa.; one brother Russell Typovsky of Daisytown; several nieces and nephews.
All Funeral Services will be private and under direction of the JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street Beallsville, PA 15313.
