Robert L. Mosier Sr.
Robert L. Mosier Sr., age 72, of Smock, Pa., passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in his home surrounded by loving family.
He was born in Cheverly, Maryland on May 21, 1946 son of the late Reno Mosier and Lorraine McCoy Mosier.
Robert was a 1964 graduate of Uniontown High School.
He was a member of Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church.
Robert worked as the Postmaster of the Smock Post Office for 25 years.
He was a Past Master of James Cochran Lodge No. 614 F. & A. M. and a member of Uniontown Lodge of Perfection.
Robert served with the United States Navy in Vietnam.
He was a Life Member of Disabled American Veterans Fayette 58 DAV Honorary Life Member of the American Legion Post 423, member of the NRA, Life Member of North Union Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8543.
Left to cherish Robert’s memory are his wife, Barbara (Morris) Mosier; son, Robert L. Mosier Jr. of Smock, Pa.; sisters: Lois Koon and husband Russell of Morgantown, West Virginia and Lynn Skugrud of Minnesota.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., where Family and Friends will be received today, October 7th, 2018 from Noon to 2 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Visitation will continue on Monday, October 8th, 2018 in LAUREL HILL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH from 10 until 11 a.m. followed by a Service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Michael Shepard officiating.
Interment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa. where Military Rites and Honors will be accorded by the General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood, Pa.
James Cochran Lodge No. 614 F. & A. M. will conduct Services in the funeral home today at 7:00 p.m.
