Glenn Howard Brooks
Glenn Howard Brooks, age 90, of Penncraft, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in the Sinclair Personal Care Home, Smock, Pa.
Glenn was born in Palmer, Fayette County, Pa., on August 15, 1928 a son of Thomas Porter Brooks and Mamie Louise (Crisson) Brooks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas, David, Kenneth, James; and infant sister.
Glenn was employed at United States Steel’s Cristy Park, Duquesne Steel Works, and the Ricco Bus Lines.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 Years, Dorothy Louise (Zidek) Brooks; daughter, Lisa Carp and her husband Jay of Penncraft, Pa.; son, Glenn A. Brooks and his wife Julie of Wilmington, North Carolina; grandchildren: Andrew Carp, Lauren Carp, Caleigh Brooks, Joey Brooks; brother, Herbert Brooks and his wife Bunny of Clyde Ohio
Glenn’s family will receive friends today, Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in KISH-FABRY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 19 Legion Street, Republic, Pa., where a Blessing Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 with Father Thumma Fathimareddy as the Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
