Sandra Jane Gergely Piccolomini
Mrs. Sandra Jane (Gergely) Piccolomini, 75, peacefully passed away after a dignified battle against Parkinson’s disease on Monday, October 8, 2018 with loving family by her side.
Born on September 13, 1943 in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William and Ruth Gergely of Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
Married in 1964 to the love of her life, she started her family in Uniontown, Pennsylvania and later relocated to Maryland. She worked alongside her husband in their family business and was a remarkable cook who loved to entertain.
Sandra lived her life to the fullest and was most passionate about her family and her love and worship to Jehovah God. She was a member of the Monocacy Maryland Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Sandra was preceded in death by her loving husband, Victor Piccolomini, and was a loving mother of son Victor William Piccolomini and wife Tonya of Ijamsville, Maryland and daughter Danea Michaele (Piccolomini) Ross and husband Daniel of Ijamsville, Maryland. She is also survived by six devoted grand children: Madison Mackensie, Victor Glen, Siena Maria, Isabella Jane, Conrad Pierce, and Natalia Michaele. Sandra leaves behind her devoted sister, Debra Cook and husband Michael of Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
The family will receive friends at STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pennsylvania Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with speaker Michael Cook of the Uniontown Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses officiating.
