Enrico Venincasa
Enrico Venincasa, age 93, Uniontown, Pa., passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the home of his loving care givers.
He was born in Ronco, Pa., the son of Vincenzo and Philomena (Reda) Venincasa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Florence in 2015; one son, Eric; three brothers; and one sister.
Enrico was a member of Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
He served in the United States Navy during World War II on the USS Antietam
Enrico was a retired Coal Miner.
He is survived by a son Vincent Venincasa and wife Kathy of Colorado; a daughter, Christine of Ohio; two grandchildren: Ciro and Ciara; brothers: Adam Venincasa and Louis Venincasa; a sister, Rose Pringle; and his extended family: Connie and Don Williams and their three children son Donnie Williams, daughter Kellie Gilleland and husband Eric and their five children Riley, Carson, Levi, Cooper and Katim, and son Bryan Williams and wife Jean and their three children Hannah, Mia, Luke.
Friends will be received in DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, Pa., today Sunday, October 14 from 4 to 6 p.m. and Monday October 15, 2018 until 9:00 a.m. when the Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Funeral Mass will follow at 9:30 a.m. in Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery Hopwood, Pa., where Full Military Rites and Honors will be accorded by General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood, Pa.
