Larry Lee Fields Sr. “Deedle”
Larry Lee Fields Sr., “Deedle”, 70, Smithfield, Pa., died on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in the J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia.
He was born November 9, 1947 in Uniontown, Pa.
Larry was predeceased by his parents, Melvina Fields and Elmer Shaffer and by his grandson, Brandon Buncic.
Surviving are his children: Kelly Buncic and Larry Fields Jr.; grandchildren: Courtney Buncic, Allison Buncic, Aubrey Fields; former wife, Bobbi Fields; and siblings: Jim, Mark, Sharon, Nancy, Michael, Michelle, George, Terry.
He was employed at the Duquesne Light Company’s Warwick Mine for many years until his retirement.
Larry enjoyed hunting, antique cars, Pittsburgh sports, fellowshipping with friends and family.
The family will greet friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church street, Fairchance, Pa., Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m and Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 9 to 10 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa. with Military Rites and Honors accorded by the General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood, Pa.
