Patty Hixon Morris
Patty (Hixon) Morris, 58, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.
She was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania on Monday, May 23, 1960 the daughter of the late Edward Hixon and Osabee Thomas.
Patty was an avid reader, enjoyed playing online Bingo, watching the Pittsburgh Penguins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her step father, William Thomas.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Johnathan Morris and his special friend, Natasha Burnsworth, of Uniontown, Pa.; sisters: Terry Hixon and Mike Sabo, Leslie Hixon-Bowie and Ken, Mary Flowers; brothers: Edward Hixon Jr. and Gregg Thomas and Heather; step sisters: Gloria (Roger) Markley and Joyce Straight; nephews and nieces: Lance and Tracy Hixon, Michael and Pet Sabo, Katelyn Flowers, Baylee Flowers, Nathan Gluvna and Hunter Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home.
Friends were received in JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Ave., Masontown, P., on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 3 to 6 p.m. the hour of Service in the Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Gary McFadden officiated.
Private interment.
