Two vehicles, antiques stolen in Menallen burglary

Two vehicles and a trove of antiques were stolen during a burglary in Menallen Township, according to state police.

Sometime between 4 p.m. Aug. 26 and 5 p.m. Sept. 19, someone broke into a 362 Searights Herbert Road home and stole an antique hair salon dryer, an antique cash register, appliances, copper tubing, a black 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt and a gold 2000 Dodge Caravan, police said.

The vehicles did not have registration plates displayed. The victim is listed as a 49-year-old Uniontown man.

State police are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call State Police in Uniontown at 724-439-7111 or Fayette County Crime Stoppers at 724-320-2042.
