Carla Marie Seiaman, 71, of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Masontown, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019, at Generations of Oakton Pavillion, Des Plaines, Ill.
She was born in Uniontown September 21, 1948, a daughter of Hildegarde M. Ulle Seiaman and the late George E. Seiaman.
Before retiring, Carla was employed as a ground stewardess at American Airlines for more than 10 years and loved to travel. She was a lector and a member of St. Clement Church, Chicago.
Carla loved fashion and making jewelry, but above all she loved the city of Chicago, where she lived for 50 years.
Carla is survived by her mother, Hildegarde; and sisters Lindasue (Gary) Owcar of Saxonburg and Cynthia Flowers of Zelienople; nephews Justin Owcar, Joseph Pierce Jr. and Zachary Flowers; and niece Jessica Pierce.
She was predeceased by her father, George E. Seiaman; and her brother-in-law, J.D. Flowers.
Family and friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Avenue, Masontown, from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, when Prayers of Transfer will be said. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish Church, Masontown, with the Reverend William G. Berkey as celebrant.
Interment at St. Agnes Cemetery, Masontown.
