Information sessions

Waynesburg University will host two Saturday Information Sessions Feb. 9 and March 23. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. each day in Miller Hall. The sessions will begin with an admissions and financial aid presentation, include a full campus tour and end with an optional lunch in Benedum Dining Hall. Charleroi registration

Charleroi Area School District will hold kindergarten registration for the 2019-20 school year 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. March 21 in the Alumni Room, located next to the auxiliary gymnasium above the football stadium.

To be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be 5 years of age on or before July 31. On the day of registration, parents must present the child’s birth certificate, proof of residency, a state-issued photo ID and the child’s immunization records.

Children eligible for first grade who are not already attending the Charleroi Elementary Center may register at this time. The above documents are required. For more information, contact the elementary center office at 724-483-5554.
