Smithfield man drops lawsuit against former employer
A Smithfield man has dropped his lawsuit against his former employer.
Gary L. Kay through his attorney, Prabhu Narahari, filed a motion to dismiss the federal lawsuit filed against Frontier Construction out of Donegal, Westmoreland County.
The dismissal of the action was with prejudice, meaning Kay cannot file another lawsuit with similar allegations against the company.
According to the complaint, Kay was employed with Frontier Construction in August 2017 and alleged that his boss yelled at him about how his time sheet was done and later tackled him over it.
The suit had asked for compensation for lost wages, front pay, compensatory damages, interest and legal fees.
