Third person charged in string of robberies in Fayette and Westmoreland
A third person was charged for allegedly participating in three robberies in Fayette and Westmoreland counties on Dec. 22 and 24.
Katrina Ann Rogers, 46, of Scottdale was identified as a co-conspirator in the robberies during an investigation, according to Connellsville Police.
On Dec. 22, Clyde Mensch, 42, of Scottdale allegedly brandished a firearm at Honey Bear Sunoco on Snyder Street and demanded cash and cigarettes. Surveillance footage helped police identify Mensch as the suspect. William Nathan Lint, 35, of East Patterson Street was identified as the getaway driver.
Rogers also allegedly conspired in a robbery Dec. 22 in East Huntingdon Township and in Scottdale Dec. 24. Both men were also charged in those robberies. The men were also charged in another robbery in Scottdale Dec. 19. Rogers has not been charged in that case.
She is charged with conspiracy to commit: robbery, terroristic threats, aggravated assault, simple assault, theft and receiving stolen property in Fayette County. She waived her charges Jan. 16 in her two Westmoreland County cases. Rogers is lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
