Brownsville man injured in Washington County crash
A 73-year-old man was driving too fast and tailgating a van when he lost control of his car and it rolled over Thursday on Route 40 in North Bethlehem Township, Washington County, state police reported.
Police on Friday identified the driver as Julius Quinn of Brownsville, who was flown by helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital following the 10:53 p.m. crash near Buckingham Road.
Police said the severity of Quinn’s injuries was unknown.
His eastbound car traveled up an embankment and continued for 250 feet before it rolled over, skidded on its roof and came to rest in the westbound lane.
