Preliminary hearings 3-5-19
Several preliminary hearings were held this week in Fayette County. The results include:
George M. Adams, 40, of Uniontown waived a robbery charge to the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas Tuesday for allegedly trying to rob another man in the Meloni’s parking lot Dec. 5. He is lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of $7,500 bail.
Jonathan M. Campbell, 27, of Uniontown waived charges to the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas Tuesday for allegedly pretending to be a state police trooper on the Fayette County Emergency Management Agency radio frequency in 21 transmissions Feb. 2 and 3. He is facing two counts each of false alarm to agency of public safety and risking catastrophe, five counts of impersonating a public servant and one count each of criminal use of a communication facility and possession of an instrument of crime with intent. He is lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.
Christopher T. Colbert, 21, of Connellsville was held for court Wednesday for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl at a party in October. He is facing two counts each of rape, statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors and indecent assault and one count each of unlawful contact with a minor, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of children. He was freed from Fayette County Prison Jan. 30 after $50,000 bail was posted on his behalf.
Jessica M. Lowry, 34, of Uniontown waived charges Tuesday for allegedly kicking a state police trooper in the chest at Uniontown Hospital Jan. 14. She is facing two counts each of aggravated assault and simple assault, and one count of disorderly conduct. She is lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail.
Timothy Q. Rodeheaver Sr., 57, of North Union Township was held for court Tuesday for allegedly sexually assaulting two young girls over a five-year period. Two counts of rape of a child were withdrawn. He faces two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, 120 counts of aggravated indecent assault of a person less than 13, and 240 counts of indecent assault of a person less than 13 and corruption of minors. He is lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of $200,000 bail.
Eric M. Springer Sr., 41, of Fairchance was held for court Tuesday on charges of accidents involving death or personal injury, flight to avoid apprehension and aggravated assault by vehicle for allegedly fleeing a crash that injured two women in Luzerne Township March 29. He was freed from Fayette County Prison July 3 after his $10,000 bail was changed to unsecured.
