Shawn Tyler Coleman, age 17, of Lemont Furnace, died suddenly Sunday, March 3, 2019. He was born April 19, 2001. He was the son of Aaron and Tabatha Dennis Coleman and beloved brother of Connor.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, John and Cora Belle Dennis and Kathryn Coleman and Mary Lou Seese; and cousin, Kaylee Shaffer.

In addition to his parents and brother, he is survived by his grandparents, John and Wendy Dennis and Donnie and Brenda Coleman; aunts and uncles, Amy and James Shaffer, Jamie and Alan Coleman and Justin and Jessica Dennis; cousins, Brianna Derek, Brendan Shaffer Ellarie Coleman, Hayley and Julie Dennis; his loving girlfriend, Alexis Gordon; and friends, Jesse McClain, Grace Gardner, Duane Phelan, Elea Mckinney, Noah Lutz and Uncle Garrey Gardner.

Shawn was a senior at Laurel Highland High School. He was a member of West Leisenring Volunteer Fire Department, Lemont Sportmans Club and Barton Hollow Hunting Club. Shawn loved fishing, hunting and being in the outdoors. He devoted his time to being a fireman and spending time with his brother Connor. Shawn loved his two babies, Scout and LuLu.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUERAL HOME Hopwood, Pa., on Wednesday, March 6 from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday March 7 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and Friday, March 8 until 11 a.m., the hour of the service, with Pastors Bob Miller and Branden Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the West Leisenring Volunteer Fire Department. West Leisenring Volunteer Fire Department will conduct services in the funeral home on Thursday, March 7, at 7 p.m.
