Uniontown

Alma Jean Cantrell, 91, of Uniontown, PA passed away peacefully Saturday March 9, 2019. She was born September 12, 1927 in Masontown, PA.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Edgar and Blanche (Lilley) Helmick, husband Bobby Cantrell, children, Susan and Gary Cantrell, six siblings: Edgar and Donald Helmick, Hazel Dayton, Geraldine Stitchick and two infant siblings.

Alma was a member of the Dunbar Baptist Church and had worked for Girards Cleaning Service. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by her family members and friends.

Surviving are a son Keith Cantrell of Butler, PA, a special granddaughter Sara Fabian and husband David of Uniontown, two other grandchildren, a sister Loretta Robinette of Glen Burnie, MD and her faithful and loving cat Bailey.

Friends will be received in the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC. 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave. Uniontown, PA on Tuesday from 11 AM to 2 PM. Services will begin at 2 PM with Pastor Robert Wrachford officiating. Interment will be private.
