Debra Gail Girard Yowler
Debra Gail Girard Yowler, 62, of Hopwood, passed away Monday March 11, 2019, with her family by her side, after a short- term battle with cancer. Debra was born April 18, 1956, in Uniontown. She was a daughter of Ross Girard Jr. of Hopwood and the late Betty Savage Girard.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her loving husband, Bruce W. Yowler of Hopwood; daughter Angela M. Yowler of Orlando, Fla.; special aunt Kathryn Girard of Uniontown; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by brother Dale L. Girard, who passed away in 2015.
Debra was a 1974 graduate of Laurel Highlands Highschool. She enjoyed spending time on the computer.
Friends will be received in THE DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME HOPWOOD, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday March 14, and until 11 a.m., the hour of the service, Friday, March 15, with Pastor Dave Herring officiating. Internment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery. The family wishes to thank all of her nurses, aids and staff of Amedisys hospice, who took such great care of her.
