Mather woman charged for threatening ex-boyfriend, his children and police
Cumberland Township police filed charges against a Mather woman, after her ex-boyfriend allegedly received numerous threatening text messages from her Sunday.
Tiffany Marie Christy, 28, of 100 First St., allegedly sent the messages to her ex-boyfriend, who lives in Cumberland Village, threatening him and his children. Police viewed the messages, one of which stated, “I hope you choke…” and another said that she would “run over your kids next time I see you walking,” the criminal complaint said.
The man allegedly told Christy to stop contacting him and advised her that he notified police, the complaint said. She responded, saying “I’ll spit in the cop’s face too,” and “I’ll kill them cops,” according to the complaint.
When police contacted Christy to tell her to stop contacting her ex-boyfriend, she refused and began to curse at the police over the phone, the complaint said.
Christy was charged with two counts of terroristic threats and one count of harassment.
