Joan McGrail Giesy, 77, of Uniontown, passed on Friday, March 8, 2019. She was born July 2, 1941, in Bellevue, a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Philys E. Davis McGrail. She was the beloved wife of the late Lynn “Skip” Giesy; mother of Verle Guntrum (Robert Barrett) of Greenville, S.C., and Phyllis Guntrum (Greg Gonzalez) of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; grandmother of Morgan H. Guntrum; stepmother of Patrick Giesy and Melissa Jenaro, both of Pittsburgh; sister of Donald McGrail of Pittsburgh. Joan was a caretaker and will be terribly missed by family and friends.
