Louise Ellen Gardner Teets Rockwell
Louise Ellen Gardner Teets Rockwell, 90, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully March 16, 2019, in Mount Macrina Manor, with loving family at her side. She was born June 19, 1928, in Waltersburg.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles Gardner and Mabel Rena Richards Gardner Hoyack; two sons, John Shipley Teets and Randall Wayne Rockwell; daughter Louise Rosano; two grandchildren; sister Phyllis Gardner; and three brothers, Charles, Gerald and Lawrence Gardner.
Louise was a former employee of Goodwill Industries and was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family members and loved ones.
Surviving are four children, Gerald Lee Teets, Sr. of Uniontown, Allan James Rockwell, Sr. and wife Chrystal of Farmington, Alana McNair and husband Carl and Timothy Eugene Rockwell and Tina, all of Uniontown; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Viola Smitley of West Leisenring and Eileen Grimes and husband Gifford and Patricia Francis and husband Jack, all of Lemont Furnace.
At Louise’s request, her funeral services were private under the direction of SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, with interment in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
