Linda L. Hargis
Linda L. Hargis, 74, of Carmichaels, died Tuesday March 26, 2019, in Madison Rehabilitation Center, Morgantown, W.Va.
Mrs. Hargis was born August 10, 1944, in Bud, W.Va., a daughter of the late Dewey L. and Violet L. Church McKinney.
She was the beloved mother of Christy McAfee (William) of Carmichaels, and the late Craig Evan Hargis.
In addition to her daughter, Linda is survived by four grandchildren, Courtney Hargis and Chris, Chase and Jason McAfee; brother, Dr. Douglas McKinney (Sue); two sisters, Andrea Anderson (Charles) and Sandrea Hill (Jerry) and fiance, George Hoffman of McClellandtown.
A brother, Rodney McKinney, died in infancy.
Linda was a former resident of Pineville, W.Va., and worked as a secretary at the Wyoming County Board of Education for many years.
She enjoyed Nascar and travelling in her spare time, and was an excellent seamstress.
Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Marsh 29, in LESAKO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 724-966-5100.
The Funeral Service will begin at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown.
