Mathew Edwin Rainey, 38, of Grindstone, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019. He was born in Washington, on July 24, 1981, a son of Ronald Edwin Rainey and Candy Sue Pruitt.
Mathew was preceded in death by his infant son, Andrew Joseph Rainey.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his wife of 17 years, Angela Kotcella; four sons, Mathew, Edwin, Andrew “AJ” and Mason; one sister, Corine (Tommy) Johns; two nephews, Kyle and Brandon Davis; also many friends and family.
Visitation will be held at Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, PA 15417, from noon to 2 and 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, when a blessing service will follow in the funeral home, with the Rev. Fr. Thumma Fathimareddy officiating.
