Preliminary hearings 10-27-19
Several preliminary hearings were held this week in Fayette County. The results include:
Frank Tarr, 42, of Grindstone was held for court Monday on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and possession of a firearm prohibited for allegedly firing shots outside a Braznell Road home where people were standing outside, threatening to kill a group of people and hitting a man with a metal bat Aug. 25. He is lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of $35,000 bond.
Bryan J. Rugg, 36, of Mill Run waived charges of flight to avoid apprehension, DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, and false identification Wednesday for allegedly leading police on a foot chase near Breakneck Church of God in Bullskin Township Oct. 9. He was released after his $15,000 bail was changed to unsecured.
Harold E. Hair Jr., 63, of Dunbar waived charges of cruelty to animals and two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals Tuesday for allegedly shooting a cat on his porch Aug. 9.
Tyler J. Dean, 23, of Grindstone waived charges of aggravated assault and simple assault Wednesday for his alleged involvement in a fight involving four people in Jefferson Township July 28.
