Anthony Stanley Lemansky, 89, of Uniontown, passed peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2019, surrounded by his loving children.
He was born January 18, 1930, in Footedale, son of the late Michael and Cecilia (Cwiklinski) Lemansky.
He was the beloved husband of 65 years to Amelia (German) Lemansky; father of Susan (John) Piar of Apple Valley, Calif., Mark Lemansky of Maricopa, Ariz., Joyce (Gerald) Ruane of Mesa, Ariz. and Diane (Gerard) Totten of Pittsburgh; grandfather of Lee Bushee, Leah Ruane, Audra (Chad) Becker, Nolan (Heidi) Ruane, Carlie (Michael) Magner and Ali (Ryan) Kostura; great-grandfather of Gabriel, Asher, Easton, Michael and Kip; brother of Regina (the late Buzz) Houk of Bethel Park and Tom (Angie) Lemansky of Uniontown and the late Helen Miscovich, Francis Lemansky, Agnes Shinsky, Clarence, John and Michael Lemansky. Also survived by his many nieces and nephews whom he cherished.
Tony was a Navy veteran serving during the Korean War. He was employed by Bell Telephone for 40 years. He was a member of the Vetersns of Foreign Wars and the Polish Club in Uniontown and enjoyed hunting, golfing, gardening, and most recently, painting.
Family and friends are invited to STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Ext., Uniontown, on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Prayers of Transfer Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Walnut Hill Road, Uniontown. Entombment to follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery Mausoleum with full military honors to be accorded.
