Eula M. Godissart Zundel
Eula M. Godissart Zundel, 90, of Perryopolis, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Uniontown Hospital. Born March 29, 1929, in Washington Township, a daughter of the late Peter and Lorena Neil Godissart.
A resident of Perryopolis for more than 65 years, Mrs. Zundel was retired from Hills Department Store with 24 years of service and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
She is survived by her children, John E. Zundel and wife Denise of Vanderbilt, Robert A. Zundel and wife Jerene of Perryopolis, Brenda VanDivner and husband Ronald of Perryopolis; two grandchildren, Sherry Secrest and husband Brian, Stacey Bill and husband Jeff; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Zundel, December 24, 1999.
Private family visitation and funeral services were held Friday, with the Rev. Melissa Snyder of Perryopolis First Christian Church officiating at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty Street, Perryopolis, 724-736-2515. Interment took place in Bowman-Flatwoods Cemetery.
