Washington Trotting fined $10,000 over expired licenses

The operator of The Meadows Racetrack & Casino has been fined $10,000 by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

The board said Wednesday it fined Washington Trotting Assoc. LLC following two incidents in which casino employees “were permitted to work after their gaming licenses expired and without authorization” from the board.

PGCB also fined Downs Racing LP, owner of Mohegan Sun Pocono in Luzerne County, $110,000 for underage gaming violations.
