Richard Lyle Hagner, 66, of Leckrone, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at WVU Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown.

He was born in Uniontown, on December 2, 1955, the son of the late Edward and Margaret Wilson Hagner.

Before retiring he was employed as a diesel mechanic for M&Y Service, a coal stripping company.

He was predeceased by his parents; and sons, Richard Hagner and Bobby Mackey; brothers, Albert, James, Lester and Charles; and sister, Winnona Strosnider.

“Dick” was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Thelma Louise (Angelo) Hagner; children, Michael Hagner and Fiancee Melissa King, Rita (Jeffrey) Yanowsky, Crystal Hagner, Rodney (Karey David) Hagner, Tina (Franklin, Sr.) Bankhead and Marion Rutan; 36 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren whom he loved.

Family and friends will be received in the Smithfield Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 112 N. Main Street, Smithfield, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022, and from 12 until 1 p.m., the hour of service, Saturday, at the Church with Reverend Rose Bircher officiating.

Interment in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown.
