James C. Shea, Sr., 58, of Adah, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023, in WVU Uniontown Hospital. He was born August 20, 1965, in Hagerstown, Md.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Mamie D. (Thomas) Shea; and two brothers, Roger “Joe” Shea and Kenneth Edward Shea.

James was a truck driver for Albatross Ventures. He loved driving truck, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially with his granddaughter, Summer Lynn, whom he adored.

Surviving are his wife, Sheila Renee Teets Shea; two sons, James C. Shea, Jr. (Sabrina) of Morgantown, W.V., and Justin C. Shea of Adah; granddaughter, Summer Lynn Shea; his father, James E. Shea of Republic; and four siblings, Cathy Pellick (Randy) of New Salem, Patricia Smith (Matthew) of Bentleyville, Janet Johnson (Christopher), and Michael Shea (Joy) all of Smithfield.

Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m., the time of a service, Thursday, November 9, in the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Avenue, Uniontown. Interment will be private.
