June E. “Tutchie” Colinet, 88, of Uniontown, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023, in Uniontown Hospital.
She was born December 24, 1934, in Lambert, a daughter of the late Francis and Margaret Mellinger Sherrow.
Tutchie loved her grandchildren greatly, and also enjoyed cooking and bingo.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Sherrow; and her sister, Martha Walters.
Tutchie is survived by her husband of 66 years, Martin Colinet; two children, Jay Colinet and wife Frances of Irwin, and Lisa Scott and husband Rodney of Anchorage, Alaska; two grandchildren, Beth McElhaney and husband Jason, and Jason Colinet and wife Chantelle; four great-grandchildren, Megan, Sara, Giada and Gino; brother, John Sherrow and wife Zenka; and nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Dr. Ahmed and his staff at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Uniontown for their compassionate care. Also, a special thank you to family, friends, and neighbors for their concern and support.
Funeral services are private for the immediate family only. Arrangements are under the direction of the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem.
