The Education Council of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce recently honored Ariel Seehoffer of Uniontown, a junior at Fayette County Career and Technical Institute, as a student of the month for March.
A daughter of Angela Seehoffer, she is undecided about her post secondary plans.
Seehoffer is an honor roll student and is involved in Health Occupations Students of America and Students Against Destructive Decisions.
She has work experience at Arby’s and volunteers for the Free Methodist Church fundraisers, holiday programs and dinners for the less fortunate.
Elected by their schools based on academic achievement, extra curricular activities, and citizenship, students of the month are honored by the chamber’s Education Council. They were presented a recognition certificate at the Students of the Month Dinner in April.
The Fayette County Career and Technical Institute Students of the Month (second semester) were sponsored by Dynegy.
