Jessica Ricco


The Education Council of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce recently honored Jessica Ricco of New Salem, a junior at Fayette County Career and Technical Institute, as a student of the month for March.

A daughter of Anthony and Heather Ricco, she plans to further her education at the Pittsburgh Technical College studying graphic design with the career goal of eventually opening her own graphics business.

Ricco has previously been honored as student of the month at the Fayette County Career and Technical Institute.

She is involved in the extracurricular activities, including volleyball, Skills USA where she is secretary/treasurer, student council and Graphic Arts Shop president,

Ricco has work experience at Dairy Queen and volunteers at Fayette Friends of Animals.

Elected by their schools based on academic achievement, extra curricular activities, and citizenship, students of the month are honored by the chamber’s Education Council. They were presented a recognition certificate at the Students of the Month Dinner in April.

The Fayette County Career and Technical Institute Students of the Month (second semester) were sponsored by Dynegy.
