Aleppo man not guilty of exposing self to minor

An Aleppo man accused of exposing himself to a child in 2023 was acquitted on all charges following a one-day trial.
Michael Galloway, 45, was found not guilty on misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure and indecent assault of a person under 16 following the jury trial at the Greene County Courthouse.
State police accused Galloway of exposing himself and making a lewd comment to the minor while changing a hot water heater at an Aleppo Township residence in February 2023. Both the minor and Galloway testified during the trial Friday.
“After careful deliberation, the jury listened to the testimony and evidence presented in this case and determined that my client was not guilty,” said defense attorney Adam Yarussi, who represented Galloway at trial. “Mr. Galloway has proclaimed his innocence since day one.”
Yarussi said it was a “hard-fought case,” but he thanked the Greene County District Attorney’s office for its professionalism during the trial. President Judge Lou Dayich presided over the trial.
“We also want to thank the jury for carefully considering the evidence and dedication to upholding justice,” Yarussi said. “Their thoughtful deliberations were essential to reaching this just verdict.”
Galloway was charged in June 2023 and has been free on unsecured bond while awaiting trial.
