North Union Township VFW Post 8543 held its annual Pearl Harbor Day Remembrance Ceremony Thursday, the 82nd anniversary of the attack. Keynote speakers at the event were Army William Rolland, Junior Vice Commander of the VFW Department of Pennsylvania, and Michael Brooker, Commissioner-at-Large of the Pennsylvania State Veterans Advisory Committee. Speakers included state Sen. Patrick Stefano, state Rep. Charity Grimm-Krupa and Jarrett Niecgorski, representing U.S. Rep. Guy Reschenthaler’s office. Also present were Fayette County Commissioners Dave Lohr, a U.S. Navy veteran, Scott Dunn and Vince Vicites.
