Driver injured after plow truck hit by train

The driver of a state Department of Transportation plow truck was injured Tuesday morning after it was hit by a train.

According to state police, the accident occurred shortly before 6 a.m. at the intersection of Laughlin Street and Railroad Street in Dawson.

Police said the driver had minor injuries and was transported to Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. The driver’s identity was not immediately available.
