Two people die in separate Fayette County house fires

Two people have died following separate house fires in Fayette County.
Firefighters were called to a Race Street house in Connellsville about 8 p.m. Thursday for a fire and pulled a woman from the residence.
The woman, 26-year-old Sierra Trillow, later died at Highlands Hospital in the city, according to Fayette County Coroner Bob Baker.
The cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy, the coroner said, and details on how the fire started or its cause were not immediately released. The New Haven Hose Company in Connellsville could not be reached for comment Saturday.
The coroner also was dispatched Friday night after a man died following a house fire in Menallen Township. The body of 60-year-old Allen Lee Newcomer was found inside the home in the village of Waltersburg, although the cause and manner of his death were not immediately known.
The state police fire marshal is investigating the fire. The Smock Volunteer Fire Department could not be reached for comment Saturday for information on the fire.
