A Monessen man arrested earlier this week in Florida is considered a person of interest in a Rostraver Township homicide case.

Unnamed police sources have identified the man as Dorian Jeri-Greene, 39, multiple news organizations report.

On Wednesday, the Westmoreland County district attorney’s office and Rostraver police issued a statement saying they had located the person of interest in connection with last month’s death of Jennah Marie Seibert.

Jeri-Greene is currently incarcerated in the Hillsborough, Fla., county jail after he was picked up Tuesday on a warrant issued in a burglary case out of Washington County, according to online court records.

No charges have been filed against Jeri-Greene in connection to Seibert’s murder. On April 11, Seibert, 24, was found shot to death in her Rostraver Township home at 400 Lenity School Road.

Last month investigators released a surveillance image of a man making a purchase at a Monongahela convenience store.

While the Westmoreland County district attorney’s office stated they have a person of interest in custody, spokesperson Melanie Jones would not confirm Thursday that Jeri-Greene was the person in the surveillance photo.

Donora police charged Jeri-Greene Feb. 5 with felonies of burglary, robbery and criminal trespassing. He also faces misdemeanor charges of theft by unlawful taking, simple assault, strangulation, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

According to the criminal complaint, the morning of Feb. 2 Jeri-Greene broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house in the 200 block of Allen Avenue in Donora and assaulted her.

Charging documents state that he kicked in the back door, grabbed her by the neck and slapped her multiple times. Jeri-Greene allegedly destroyed his ex-girlfriend’s iPhone and fled the residence.

He is awaiting extradition to Washington County.
