Uniontown man charged with assault
A Uniontown man was arrested after allegedly trying to sexually assault two other men who lived at his house.
Austin McCurley, 41, was charged with two counts each of attempted involuntary deviant sexual intercourse and indecent exposure in an incident at his residence on Cleveland Avenue.
One of the men told police he had been sleeping in his bed about 2:30 a.m. Monday when he awoke to find McCurley trying to assault him. When he yelled for help, the second man came downstairs and told McCurley to stop, at which point McCurley tried to assault that man, the complaint said.
After the first man tackled McCurley, he went back to his own room, according to charging documents.
McCurley was awaiting a preliminary hearing Thursday.
