A multiple stabbing in Redstone Township, Fayette County, resulted in five people sent to trauma centers and local hospitals.
Fayette County – Six people were injured in a “domestic-related stabbing incident in Fayette County Sunday afternoon.
According to a press release from Pennsylvania State Police, troopers were called to the 50 block of Park Street in Redstone Township at about 12:30 p.m. following reports of a multiple stabbing.
When troopers arrived, they found that six people were involved in the altercation.
Two people were flown by medical helicopter to area trauma centers, while three others were taken by ambulance to local hospitals. A sixth person was treated at the scene and released.
PSP said the incident was isolated and there was no threat to the public.
An investigation is ongoing.
