A house fire in South Connellsville resulted in several displacements Saturday.

The fire on Oak Street happened around 5 p.m. Saturday. The number of displacements was not clear Sunday, as Fayette County 911 reported two adults and an infant displaced while the American Red Cross reported that it will be assisting three adults and one child displaced by the fire.

Responding to the fire according to Fayette County 911 were South Connellsville Volunteer Fire Company, Connellsville Township Volunteer Fire Department, Hew Haven Hose Company, DL&V Volunteer Fire Department and Everson Volunteer Fire Company, as well as Fayette EMS, West Penn Power for downed wires, Fayette fire rehab and the American Red Cross.

Fayette County 911 could not confirm the cause of the fire. South Connellsville and Connellsville Township fire departments could not be reached for comment Sunday.
