Beverly Trader, 81, of Hopwood, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023, in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born June 13, 1942, in Herbert, a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Wiekliewicz Pillar.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Calvin Trader, Sr.; and her sisters, Louise Oleksik, Betty Mitchell, Joann Fani and Donna Stoffa.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, David Trader of Hopwood, and Calvin Trader, Jr. (Debbie) of Connellsville, and their two daughters, Paige and Annie Trader; her sisters, Delores Finley, Helen Pillar and Nancy Stajnrajh; and her brothers, Walter Porto and John Pillar.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church.
Beverly was a loving mother and grandmother; she was known as “Nanny Bev” to her two granddaughters, who were the loves of her life.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 8, in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, where visitation continues until 10 a.m. Saturday, December 9, when prayers of transfer will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church followed by burial in the church cemetery.
