Brian Michael Bandish, 45, of Perryopolis, Perry Twp., passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born April 6, 1978 in Uniontown, he was a son of the late Andrew W. Bandish and Loretta Meese Bandish who survives and resides in Perryopolis.
A lifelong resident of Perryopolis, Brian was Catholic by faith and had retired in 2023 from UPS after 26 years of service.
He was a member of the Perryopolis Sons of Italy bowling league, enjoyed fishing, basketball and playing golf. Brian was also an avid Nike shoe collector, was a Pitt football and basketball fan along with being a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved watching his nephews play football.
In addition to his mother; he is survived by his four siblings, Andrea Kennedy and husband Rich Ciliberti of Perryopolis, Christina and Thomas Locke of Perryopolis, Andrew Bandish III and wife Kristin of Perryopolis, David Bandish of Grindstone; eight nieces and nephews Joshua Kennedy, Ryan Kennedy, Tyler Kennedy, Carly Kennedy, Alicia Rohaley, Chandler Twigg, Andrew Bandish IV, Brandon Bandish; great-nephew Jace Rohaley; and a great-niece Sofia Twigg Umhoeffer; along with numerous aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Andrew Bandish Sr. and Margaret Bandish and maternal grandparents John and Blanche Meese
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME and CREMATIONS LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515. Prayers of Transfer will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. John The Baptist RC Church.
