Uniontown

Charlotte R. Conn, of Uniontown, 68, passed away Friday December 15, 2023, in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 28, 1955, in Uniontown and grew up in Carmichaels. She was the daughter of the late Charles Zabrosky and Santi Ciampanelli Zabrosky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Edward “Eddie” Zabrosky.

She graduated from Carmichaels High School in 1973. Later in life she attended Robert Morris University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Charlotte was retired at the time of her passing. She previously had worked as a secretary for the School of Nursing, an account and student aid.

Charlotte loved sewing, crocheting and reading. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and would attend all their extracurricular activities. The past few years she had taken family vacations to Myrtle Beach, where she enjoyed listening to the waves, watching the sunrise over the ocean and walks on the beach with her children and grandchildren.

Charlotte loved to travel and serve God through evangelizing to others. She was able to do both by attending three separate mission trips to Guatemala.

She is survived by her husband, William H. Conn; her daughter, Samantha McClelland and husband, Brad McClelland; granddaughters, Ava and Olivia McClelland; and grandson, Isaiah McClelland of Hopwood; and her daughter, Sabrina Absher and husband, Morgan Absher of Uniontown.

Family and friends will be received at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, from 4 to 6 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Service to immediately follow by Pastor Mark Scott.
