Mrs. Ruth Kress, 83, of Uniontown, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023, in her residence.
She was born February 24, 1940, in Uniontown, to the late James Michael O’Laughlin and Hel-en Baden O’Laughlin Pensock.
Ruth married Mr. Stanley Kress October 16, 1964, in Uniontown.
She was a hairdresser, and had her own shop for many years. She enjoyed her job and the cli-ents that became friends throughout the years.
She enjoyed making floral arrangements, decorating, her cats, and her beloved grandchildren.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Stanley Kress of Uniontown; a daughter, Holly Lemansky and husband Barton of Uniontown; and two grandchildren, Brett Francis and Bailey Ann.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Matlick.
Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of a funeral service, Wednesday, November 22, in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 603 N. Gallatin Avenue Extension, Un-iontown, PA 15401, with Father Alvin Aberion officiating.
