Donna Lee Phillips, 79, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully, in her home, surrounded by loved ones, Monday, April 15, 2024.

Donna was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Nicholas “Tink” Phillips; her parents, Edna Williams Morris and Harry Morris; her grandson, Donald Lee Phillips Jr.; granddaughter-in-law, Cassie Rae Show; and many loved ones.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Donald L. (Darlene) Phillips Sr., Renee Phillips Kuntz, Toni Rae Phillips and Michael Metros, and Nicolette V. (Scott) Show; her grandchildren, Antonio L. Phillips, Amber A. (Mark) Korowicki, Nicholas R. (Brenda) Johnston, Tara R. (JP) Phillips, John M. (Brittany) Phillips, Tyler (Haley) Koontz, Scott C. Show, Emilie F. Phillips and Alex Stoy, and Nathan A. Show; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Donna was a loving mother, who put her children first, in every moment. She battled every hardship with strength and grace – teaching invaluable lessons to her children. Once she had grandchildren, she loved them beyond measure. “Gram” was devoted to her grandchildren; they couldn’t do anything wrong in her eyes. She was known as “Gram” not only to her grandchildren, but to all their friends as well.

Donna was a member of El-Shaddai Bible Church for over 35 years, where she formed great friendships with the pastors and members of the congregation.

In addition to her love of family and friends, Donna loved her coffee! From sunup to sundown, you could find her drinking a cup of coffee, warm or cold. Friends and family enjoyed sitting on the side porch or at the kitchen table engaging in small talk over a fresh cup of brew – no matter the time of day, or night.

Donna may have only been 4-foot 9-inches, but her strength and ability to overcome would make her seem 9-feet tall. Donna will be missed and is so very loved.

The family will receive friends and family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 18, and from 10 until the 11 a.m. hour of service Friday, April 19, in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance.

Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Church Cemetery, Georges Township.
