Hunter William Scott Meyers, 10, of Stahlstown, was brutally unalived by his cousin and best friend Thursday, August 1, 2024.

He was born August 23, 2013, in Greensburg, a son of Keith S. Meyers and Dorothy E. Fasshauer Meyers.

Hunter was a bright and intelligent boy. He wanted to be a diesel mechanic and a police officer when he grew up. Hunter loved riding quads, going fishing with his Dad and Uncle Jerry, cuddle time with his Mom, spending time with his siblings and animals. His favorite subject in school was math and he was absolutely brilliant at it. He was kind, caring, smart, strong willed, charismatic and brave.

Hunter learned how to weld with a family friend, Tyler, at only 9 years old and he was great at it. Hunter also loved playing video games with his cousin, JJ. Hunter, absolutely loved the color blue, riding in the semi with Jaz and being down in the basement with his brother, Kaiden and his dad working on vehicles.

Hunter found a love for hunting after he went with his older brother, Dalton, and was supposed to get his hunting license soon. He loved to have random nerf gun wars and going swimming. Hunter loved when his Mom and Dad would take him outside to shoot his .22.

Hunter enjoyed going to the park with his brothers, sisters, niece and nephew. He loved to go on walks with his sister, Serenity to see Donegal Lake. Hunter enjoyed spending time playing roblox and being on the phone with Cameron and Tessa. Hunter invented a game with his niece and nephew by pulling them around in their block wagon and shared so many happy laughs with them. Hunter would take any chance he got to do the arm pump and get semi’s to use their air horns and he had the purest smile you could ever see. He cared about every animal he came across, naming each one “Pizza and Mac and Cheese”.

Hunter really enjoyed going to the Pittsburgh Zoo and the Carnegie Science Center with his sister, Kionna and his niece and nephew, Harmony and Colton. Hunter was loved by his family and friends and will forever be missed.

He is survived by siblings, Kionna Meyers (“Jaz” Michael Fike), Cameron Reyome (Tessa Swager), Kaiden Reyome (Hannah Aller), Serenity Reyome, Cj Holsopple, Dalton Mock; nieces and nephews, HarmonyAnn Meyers, Colton Meyers, and Bennett Reyome; aunts and uncles, William “Kenny” Fasshauer, Wendy McCormick, James “Jimmy” Teska, Ocie Teska, Carl Fasshauer (Loree), Steve Meyers (Melissa), Jerry Meyers, Suzin Traud, Laura Traud (Allen); cousins, Meghan Zelasko (Zach), Allison Hauger (Jake), Sarah Carter (Joe), Christian Kuritz (Chloe), Connor, Zoey, Emma, Roy, Doug Quail (Jamie), Randy Quail, Jorden Shipley, Wilbur “Will” Campbell, James “JJ” Campbell; and grandparents, Faye Shaulis, Sharon Long (Doug), and Micky Stammely.
