Helen Huston Mudery, 95, of Uniontown, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024.
She was born February 28, 1928, in Reedsville, W.Va., a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Yolich Huston.
Helen was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church of New Salem.
She worked for 33 years at Second Time Around Boutique in Uniontown, and everyone that came into the store loved her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Mudery; and all of her brothers and sisters.
Helen was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Helen is survived by two children, Carol Hess and husband Bruce, and David Mudery and wife Patty; four granddaughters, Kelley, Susan, Kerstin, Elise; four great-granddaughters; Hadley, Stella, Emmy, and Olivia.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a Divine Liturgy at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, 34 Church Street, New Salem, PA 15468, at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 14, with the Rev. Fr. Christopher Burke as celebrant.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem.
